LaBeau Love Notes · Valentine's 2027
Cards for the things that are hard to say.
Take a beat
Rest ya head on my shoulder
xLaBeau
Poetry greeting cards by LaBeau. A poem on the front, in LaBeau's words. Room inside for yours.
- One card for one moment: repair, apology, gratitude, missing you, and three more.
- Every word on the front is LaBeau's.
- The inside is blank. That part is yours.
Preorders open December 1, 2026. The waitlist hears first.
You know what you mean.
You have known for days. The card in the aisle says it in words nobody talks like, so it stays in the drawer, and the thing stays unsaid.
A Love Note says the hard part first, in a voice that sounds like a person. You add the rest by hand.

I don't want to just be heard. I want to be felt.
Who's writing these
LaBeau writes the poems. They go up at labeau.ink and go out by email on Substack. Love Notes is the first line of cards. Every word on a card is LaBeau's.

Sold as one set of three different cards, chosen by LaBeau. No singles this first launch.

Questions
What do I get for joining the waitlist?

When can I order?
Preorders open December 1, 2026. Everyone on the waitlist gets an email that day.
How much does it cost?
$20 for a set of three different cards, chosen by LaBeau, each with its own envelope. Shipping is included. Sales tax is added where it applies. No singles this first launch. The December 1 email shows the three.
Is this a separate email list?
No. It's LaBeau's Substack, the same one the poems go out on. One list.

That is the plan. Orders close Sunday, January 3, 2027, at 11:59 pm Eastern, and every set ships by Friday, January 29. Cards go by regular mail, which has no guaranteed delivery date, so the early ship date leaves time to spare.
